Privacy

What we store. Your name, email, an optional target role, a one-way hash of your password (never the password itself), and your study progress: which interviews you've heard, completed or saved, and your daily activity.

Sessions. Signing in sets one secure, http-only cookie. We keep a hash of it with the time, browser and IP address it was used from, so you can sign out of every device at once.

Usage. To improve CrackOps we record, in our own database, which pages are visited and key actions such as signing up, finishing an interview or opening a Linux lesson. A first-party cookie links visits from the same browser. IP addresses in these records are kept only as a one-way keyed hash, never the address itself. These records are deleted after 90 days.

Cloudflare. The site is served through Cloudflare, which also counts page loads and load times for us with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, doesn't follow you to other sites and doesn't build a profile of you.

What we don't do. No ads, no selling data, no advertising or cross-site trackers.

Deleting your data. Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we'll remove your account and everything tied to it.

Contact form. Messages sent through the contact page (your name, email, topic and message) are stored in our database and emailed to us so we can reply. They're deleted with your account.

Questions. Anything else about your data: [email protected].
